What is National Engineers Week?
The purpose of National Engineers Week is to celebrate the contributions engineers make to our lives and to encourage students to pursue careers in engineering and engineering technology. To help achieve that goal, the Canton Joint Engineering Council (CJEC), comprised of representatives from 11 different engineering societies, plans and implements several events during National Engineers Week. These events include: this annual tabloid about engineering, engineering technology and National Engineers Week; the Bridge Building Competition, MATHCOUNTS and "Engineer for a Day." CJEC encourages you to learn more about engineering and to participate in National Engineers Week.
